He has since spent many years weaving words as a freelance writer for a smorgasbord of industries, honing razor-sharp SEO skills, exploring the persuasion psychology behind copywriting, and dabbling on different social media platforms.
Most recently, Luke’s writing journey has involved supporting the darts, snooker, and motorsports content on SportsBoom.com, ghostwriting for various personalities, and writing content for THESPIKE that hits page 1 in Google time after time...
When asked about his best writing-related moment, Luke flashes a wide grin and replies, “Meeting my wife. We were both part of Twitter’s writing community trying to promote our books as best we could. A few comments turned into some essay-length DMs, turned into her travelling 165 miles to meet me on my 30th birthday. Just over 3 years later, we were married, and a year after that, expecting our first child. If it wasn’t for writing, I wouldn’t be here.”
When he’s not writing, Luke loves nothing more than devouring stories with his wife in whatever form they come in – from books to comics, films to TV, TikTok, anecdotes, and beyond.
If you can’t find him wrapped up in a story or contemplating psychology and the universe, he’s probably working up some delicious grub in the kitchen or stuffing his face into a forearm-sized burrito.
