Alex is a copywriter and creative writer with nearly 6 years of experience writing in the online gambling industry. He has worked for sportsbook giants bet365, as well as online casino brands under the Mansion umbrella, helping to launch the SlotsHeaven and MansionBet brands. I was lucky enough to watch Spurs beat Real Madrid 3-1. I was right behind the goal when Eriksen netted the third goal and Wembley erupted.
Alex Matless
An avid sports fan, Alex suffers through the excitement, turmoil, trials and tribulations of being a Spurs fan. Despite only being alive to witness Tottenham lift 3 major trophies in 30+ years, he wouldn’t stop supporting the lilywhites through feast and famine (mostly famine). He once met World Cup winner Ossie Ardiles, helped pack Micky Hazard’s Land Rover after a meet and greet, and rubbed shoulders with Son Heung-min’s family in a Wembley box.
When he’s not writing copy or watching Tottenham, he enjoys betting on horse racing and backpacking around the many national parks found in the UK.
Alex has extensive experience in writing marketing content and brand storytelling. His four and a half years copywriting for luxury brands, Wedgwood and Waterford, saw him creating, redefining and honing a tone of voice for heritage brands that were rebranding themselves whilst facing a difficult retail landscape. He has worked closely with collaboration partners such as Palace Skateboards, Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY and The Luther Vandross Estate, and has even been published on the Huffington Post.
Whilst living in Gibraltar, Alex created content and marketing communications for Casino.com (a Mansion brand). Upon his return to the UK, he joined the Design and Publishing team at bet365, writing for their Casino and Bingo brands, before rejoining Mansion in a remote role from the UK and helping to launch their MansionBet sportsbook brand.
