Mbali Sigidi is an ambitious Sports Journalist and Sports Presenter from South Africa, whose achieved great milestones in her career. She boasts two degrees, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media Studies and Sociology from the University of Witwatersrand, as well as an Honours Degree in Brand Communications from Vega school of Brand Leadership. She’s a passionate storyteller who believes authenticity connects people across cultures and boarders. One of the quotes she lives by is “Be a women with a story to tell” as she believes everyones narrative matters.

Her drive and unparalleled passion, landed her a number of industry awards which includes an award winning sports programme, SAB Video Media Best Newcomer Award, Sport Journalist of the Year, Mail n Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans, and a Gsports Public Choice Award. She was also selected for the International Sport Press Association’s Young Reporters International program in 2018, to cover the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay.
Her 7 years experience stretches across TV, Radio and Print, where she covered local and African Football, Basketball, Athletics, Tennis, Netball and the Marathons. When she’s not appearing on South African screens or writing, she works as an MC and Facilitator for various companies.
