Fergal O’Brien’s assistant trainer Charlie St Quinton believes the best is yet to come from Kamsinas who will head to Newbury on Hennessey day.
He has emerged as an exciting up and coming staying hurdler, who looked very sharp when winning a nice pot at Aintree two weeks ago.
St Quinton said: “We were delighted with his last run at Aintree, he ran a blinder. We always thought a lot of the horse, he came back in from Noel’s looking great and fingers crossed he can keep going.”
“In time he’ll probably be upped in trip and hopefully the best is yet to come with him. We will head to Newbury, but if not there’s a nice race at Aintree, so there’s a few options,” he told SportsBoom.com.
The Noel Fehily Racing Syndicate own another exciting prospect with the O’Brien team and St Quinton still believes Ryan’s Rocket can become a top-class animal, despite blowing up at Chepstow when last seen.
He added: “He came out of his race very well, he’s a lovely horse and we still think he is a lovely horse. Last time he was very fresh, way too keen, Jonathan couldn’t stop him, he was beat after two furlongs. He’ll go straight over fences now and we’ll try find a nice easy starting point for him, but he’s going to be a natural chaser.”
Without getting their head in front, the yard continues to nurture and educate some exciting young horses.
Six Mile Bridge and Tripoli Flyer both finished second on their hurdle debut, but St Quinton had differing opinions on the respective performances.
Sixmilebridge was slightly disappointing. We think a lot of him, but he was just a little bit flat, I’ll have to speak to Kielan about him. We thought he would win last week at Stratford, so we’ll have to see what went wrong.

“Tripoli Flyer was very good. I think he bumped into an above average horse and we were delighted with him. I think he could be exciting for us, the horse who beat him was much more experienced, had won races over hurdles and will win a nice prize so we were delighted with him.”
The horse who beat Tripoli Flyer in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree last season is expected to make his hurdle debut in the coming weeks and the team are excited about sending him out.
St Quinton stated: “Horaces Pearl will start very soon and we will begin in a two mile novice hurdle within the next few weeks, but we are excited about running him. The best will be over further, and he is one of the better ones we have, along with Tripoli Flyer.
Springtime Promise made a pleasing return at Carlisle in two-weeks ago and the team have lofty ambitions for this talented mare.
St Quinton said: “I was delighted with her, it was a lovely re-appearance, hopefully next time she will go very close and that will be in another novice chase. In time she will probably be upped in trip, as she won over three miles in her points, but we are in no rush with that.”
“She has a nice future in mares’ chases, with the race at the festival a possibility, but I think she might rather flatter tracks, she was very good at Huntingdon and Sandown, so right-handed flat tracks might suit her.”
The assistant trainer offered a word on the well-established stable stars ahead of their seasonal re-appearances, with aspirations high of a successful year.
We obviously have high aspirations for Dysart Enos this season, she will begin at Cheltenham in the Greatwood Hurdle and we are very happy with her

“Crambo will go back to the Long Walk at Ascot and is also in very good form. Both are really well.”
