In the 2021 T20 World Cup, England’s Liam Livingstone made headlines with a spectacular display of power hitting against South Africa's Kagiso Rabada. Livingstone smashed Rabada for three consecutive sixes, including a colossal 112-meter hit over mid-wicket. This impressive six was the longest of the 2021 edition. Livingstone, however, was not able to play a long innings and was dismissed on 28 off 17. Chasing 190 to win, England fell short of the target by 10 runs. Livingstone also holds the record for the fastest century by an English player in T20 internationals – a 42-ball century against Pakistan in 2021. A hard-hitting batsman, Livingstone has a batting strike rate of 151.78 in 46 T20Is.

In a match between the UAE and Sri Lanka in the T20 World Cup 2022, UAE's Junaid Siddique hit a 109m six against Sri Lanka, the biggest of the edition. His 16-ball 18, however, was not sufficient to take UAE over the line, who fell short of the target of 153 by 79 runs. The right-arm medium bowler has played 46 ODIs and 55 T20Is, picking up 64 and 72 wickets respectively.

In the 2021 T20 World Cup, Andre Russell hit an incredible 111-meter six against Australia. This memorable shot came in a Super 12 match at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Facing Mitchell Starc in the last over of the West Indies' innings, Russell executed a powerful pull shot that soared over deep mid-wicket. This six not became the second-longest of the T20 World Cup 2021. Russell's brief yet impactful performance, scoring 18 runs off just seven balls, contributed to the West Indies posting a total of 157/7, which Australia chased down in 16.2 overs. Russell is one of the most destructive batsmen in the game’s shortest format. He boasts a strike rate of 163.66 in T20 internationals and 169.77 in T20s. 

Yuvraj Singh – 119 m

In the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007, Yuvraj Singh was one of India’s standout performers. During the semi-final against Australia, Yuvraj delivered a spectacular performance against Brett Lee. He launched one of Lee’s deliveries over square leg, resulting in the longest six of the tournament, traveling an astounding 119 meters. Yuvraj scored 70 off 30 balls, laced with five boundaries and as many maximums. His knock helped India post a total of 188, and eventually win the match by 15 runs after successfully defending the target. It was in the same T20 World Cup when Yuvraj hit Stuart Broad for six consecutive sixes. The southpaw finished the tournament with 148 runs in five innings at a strike rate of 194.73. 

Junaid Siddique - 109 m

In the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, West Indies' captain Rovman Powell hit a massive 107-meter six against Uganda, marking the longest six of the tournament so far. This impressive shot occurred in the 11th over when Powell stepped out to an off-spin delivery from Frank Nsubuga and sent it soaring over wide long-on at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. However, Powell managed only 23 runs from 18 balls. Nevertheless, the West Indies secured a dominant victory, winning by 134 runs after bowling out Uganda for a mere 39 runs. Powell boasts a strike rate of around 140 in both T20 internationals and other T20s.
