Gerwyn Price Current Form – WLWWW

Whilst the Welshman has seen a bit of a resurgence in form, there is no escaping that his next two fixtures (against Littler and Luke Humphries) are amongst the toughest he will face.

Interestingly, his acceptance into the Premier League this year has come off the back of a really positive season thus far. He has always been a player who has struggled with confidence, but one who holds an incredible amount of talent and is certainly capable of seeing off the proverbial ‘big’ players on the circuit.

Gerwyn Price News

A player who has navigated the inconsistencies of a season and battled through some health difficulties, Price has found his confidence once again. He is a fighter, and the prospect of facing Luke Littler here won’t intimidate him at all.

Luke Littler Current Form – WWWLW

Whilst the 18-year-old prodigy enjoyed an incredible PDC World Darts Championship, defeating Michael van Gerwen 7-3 in the final, he has had to wait until February 13th – against Rob Cross – for a subsequent win of the season.

Yes, we might be holding him to an incredible standard, but given the environment he is playing in, we cannot help but agree with Michael van Gerwen when it comes to seeing Luke Littler as an adult within the context of the tour.

There has been some talk about Littler falling out of favour a little bit with fans, but that might have more to do with the rowdiness of Glasgow than a dislike of Luke Littler. There is no denying his ability, he is a tough opponent to get past and this won’t be any different.

Luke Littler News

Littler has had to find his mojo again, but the win against Rob Cross the other night would have done him the world of good. Speaking to the media after his victory, Littler romanticized the idea that the win had once again given his Premier League campaign a positive tone.

Suggested Bets

These are our suggested bets for this darts encounter!

  1. Match Winner (Luke Littler): His strong current form, his historic consistency on a big stage and his ruling favouritism with the betting public suggest he is the banker here. 3/10 (1.3) with Betway.

  2. Total 180s (Over 6.5): Two players who are both known for their high-scoring nature. Backing them to produce an encounter with more than six 180s seems like a viable option. 11/20 (1.55) with 1xBet.

  3. Luke Littler (Most 180s): Another solid bet, back the youngster to find the most 180s in this match. 4/10 (1.4) with Betway.

Value Bets

  1. Highest Checkout (Gerwyn Price): Price has a history of finding the highest checkouts in a match. Considering he has begun to play with confidence again, back him to land the highest checkout here. 12/10 (2.1) with Stake.

  2. Correct Score: 6-4, Littler: Predicting the correct score will always yield the most generous odds. A 6-4 Littler win is indicative of a competitive match between the two – which is exactly what we expect!  5/1 (6.0) with Pinnacle.

  3. First Leg Winner (Price): We have spoken already about his confidence but coupled with the fact that Littler has not started as strong as he might have liked suggests there is good value in this betting angle. 18/10 (2.8) with Stake.

Prediction: Luke Littler to Win

He might be a touch inconsistent in recent matches, but the talent about this youngster is unmatched. He is a quality darts player and will likely take a power of a beating here. Price is playing with confidence – which is great to see again – but we don’t see him having what it takes to get past Luke Littler.
