As he launches his new skincare line, Euni Beauty, Mashego opens up in an exclusive interview with SportsBoom.com about balancing the demands of being a professional football player and entrepreneur, and what his hopes are for Bafana Bafana’s upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) journey.

“Just like in football, I believe in being strategic and being efficient in everything I do,” says Mashego.
“This translates into creating products that are effective and high quality while also delivering results quickly. I think my fans appreciate this approach and it has helped me connect with a wider audience in the beauty industry.”
Whilst it’s common for South African footballers to venture into business, Mashego has taken an unconventional approach and it’s grabbing the attention of those obsessed with loving the skin they’re in.

Game Face: Juggling the Demands of Football and Business
Bafana Bafana have qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament which is set to be hosted in Morocco next year, and Mashego shared his thoughts on the team’s chances.
He was part of the bronze medal-winning team that took part in the continental showpiece that took place earlier this year in Ivory Coast.
“I’m really excited! The guys have done the nation proud and it was important. South Africans now believe in the national team and it’s vital that we keep this spirit alive,” Mashego passionately shared with SportsBoom.
Playing AFCON in the Ivory Coast was so amazing. I believe that was the best competition in the whole world. We’ve done pretty well as underdogs and we’re proud. I believe this coming tournament, teams will respect us a bit because of what we’ve done the last time

“To maintain focus and energy, I prioritise my skincare routine just as much as I do my training regimen,” Mashego states proudly.
“Consistency is key, whether it’s on the field or with my skincare. My advice to fans who want to balance work and self-care like I do is find a routine that works for you and stick to it.”
