"My dad has played an important role in my career, from individual training to shaping me into the player that I am today," she acknowledged.

He also highlighted the differences in football culture between Nigeria and Sweden, noting how these varied experiences have benefited Evelyn.

On the topic of international commitments, Peter Ijeh expressed confidence in Sweden's dedication to his daughter's development more than Nigeria.

"Sweden has been impressive in player development and progression. Evelyn has played at U17, U19, and captained the U23. I'm confident she will soon debut for the senior team."

"My personal goals are for the team to be at the top of the league and qualify for the Champions League."
