The Cherries host the Cottagers in Premier League action on Monday night as both teams, who have been equally impressive this season, lock horns. Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva have done superb jobs for their respective sides this season and are both excellent tacticians.

These sides played out to an entertaining 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture and more of the same can be expected come Monday night.

Bournemouth Current Form – LDLLD

Iraola’s side has had it tough going over their previous five games in the Premier League. They are winless and have lost pace in the pursuit of a European spot. They will want to turn around their form as soon as possible if they are to put pressure on the teams above them.

Key Players to Watch

  • Justin Kluivert: The Dutch international forward has been one of the standout goal contributors for Bournemouth this season. The 25-year-old has 18 goal contributions in 28 Premier League appearances.
  • Antoine Semenyo: Another key figure for the Cherries this campaign has been Antoine Semenyo. Devastating on the counter, the winger is a nightmare for defenders to deal with. The Ghanaian is comfortable on both feet and can go on the inside and outside of his full-back.
  • Milos Kerkez: One of the rising stars in the league this season has been Milos Kerkez. The 21-year-old has put in impressive performances from left-back and has two goals and five assists to his name in the Premier League.

Bournemouth Team News

The Cherries will be without Enes Unal, who has a knee injury, while Luis Sinisterra has a hamstring issue. Ryan Christie and Marcus Tavernier will also miss the visit of Fulham, while star player Justin Kluivert should be fit for the clash.

Fulham Current Form – WLWLW

Silva’s side has been one of the most entertaining teams to watch this season. They are fresh off the back of beating log leaders Liverpool and have claimed three wins and lost twice over their previous five games in the Premier League.

Key Players to Watch

  • Emile Smith Rowe: The former Arsenal academy graduate has been a key figure for Fulham, and the attacking midfielder has managed to stay fit. The 24-year-old is a joy to watch when he is fully fit and firing, and Silva has got the best of him this season.
  • Raul Jiminez: The ex-Wolverhampton Wanderers forward is rediscovering his form at the Cottage. The striker has 10 goals and three assists in 31 Premier League games this season.
  • Antonee Robinson: The 27-year-old has been one of the best contributors for Fulham this season and in the league. The marauding full-back has 10 assists in the Premier League from left-back.

Fulham Team News

Fulham will be without former Arsenal winger, Reiss Nelson, who is nursing a hamstring injury and Harry Wilson (Foot), who are both long-term absentees.

Predicted Line-Ups

  1. Bournemouth (4-2-3-1): Arrizabalaga, Cook, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez, Adams, Christie, Brooks, Kluivert, Semenyo, Ouattara

  2. Fulham (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson, Berge, Adama, Smith Rowe, Iwobi, Jiménez

Prediction: Draw

This is a difficult game to call at the Vitality Stadium. Both teams have been excellent all season, but the home side has been on a dip of form lately. Expect Fulham to get something from the game. Iraola’s side will also need a positive result themselves, so a draw looks highly likely here on Monday night. In tightly contested fixtures like this, it’s always worth revisiting the official betting rules to understand how different outcomes might affect your bet.
