Brighton Current Form – LLWWW

There are a lot of people within this Brighton camp who believe they are able to finish in the top – and in truth, it is difficult to argue against them. With a couple of wins, they are back in European contention and will no doubt be looking to add to their points tally here. An early bet as we head into the back-end of the season might be Brighton to qualify for the UEFA Conference League.

Brighton was impressive against Bournemouth; they nullified a good Cherries defence and were able to look threatening when they went forward. That approach isn’t likely to change against this Fulham side, and playing at home might add to their inherent confidence.

Key Players to Watch

  • Danny Welbeck: A veteran forward who has shown impressive form this season. His experience and leadership are seemingly undeniable for this Brighton side, and the fact that he couples this with the added incentive of scoring goals makes his one to keep your eye on.
  • Kaoru Mitoma: He has largely occupied the left flank for Brighton this season, but given his propensity for scoring important goals, we doubt this will change anytime soon. He is a pacey player who isn’t shy to contribute defensively for his side. The Seagulls will be hoping he is able to put in another big performance here.
  • Carlos Baleba: Baleba has recently joined this Brighton team, but his inclusion has been seamless and instantly effective. The departure of Moises Caicedo would have always left a void in the heart of their midfield, but given the quality associated with Baleba, dare we say, no one has really missed the former’s absence?

Brighton Team News

Igor Julio (thigh injury), James Milner (knock) and Jason Steele (shoulder injury) are all doubts for this match.

Fulham Current Form – LWWLW

Marco Silva’s side is far better on the road than they are at Craven Cottage. This won’t be the most popular opinion, but given the way they play at home, it would surely be difficult to debunk our theory.

Granted, they are a difficult side to predict. Their inconsistency has hurt them this season and cost them valuable points. Nevertheless, last time out in the league they dismantled a good Wolves side and secured three valuable points. They will be hoping for another big showing here.

Key Players to Watch

  • Ryan Sessegnon: He has returned to the starting XI for Fulham and his impact has been felt immediately. Finding his feet once again on the flank for Fulham, he has shown an incredible propensity for attacking flair and adds an element to this Fulham side which just polished their offensive ability.
  • Alex Iwobi: How good has Iwobi become under Marco Silva? A versatile player who adds creativity and grit to this Fulham side, he is also seemingly an incredible team player. He doesn’t start every game but never seems to become disillusioned by his contributions and remains a positive influence for the team. He is an exciting player to watch.
  • Rodrigo Muniz: He has become a goalscoring machine for Fulham this season. He always seems to be in the right place at the right time and adds decisive goals for Fulham at important moments. He will be important for Silva’s side over these last few weeks in the league.

Fulham Team News

Reiss Nelson (thigh injury), Harry Wilson (ankle injury), Emile Smith-Rowe (knock) and Kenny Tete (knee injury) are all doubts.

Predicted Line-Up

  1. Brighton, 4-2-3-1: Verbruggen, Lamptey, Van Hecke, Webster, Estupinan, Baleba, Hinshelwood, Gomez, Iwobi, Mitoma, Welbeck.

  2. Fulham, 3-4-2-1: Leno, Cuenca, Diop, Anderson, Sessegnon, Berge, Lukic, Castagne, Pereira, Traore, Muniz.

Suggested Bets

Our suggested bets for Premier League betting fans are outlined below.

  1. Brighton to Win: Brighton have been impressive at home this season. They have exciting players who are able to change a game, and we think they beat an inconsistent Fulham outfit. 21/20 (2.1) with Pinnacle and Betway

  2. Both Teams to Score (Yes): Given the attacking prowess between these two sides, Both Teams to Score seems to be a smart bet. 13/20 (1.65) with 1xBet and Pinnacle

  3. Over 2.5 Goals: Another angle to take cognizance of might be the goals market. Back Over 2.5 Goals at decent odds.  15/20 (1.75) with 1xBet and Pinnacle.

Value Bets

  1. Correct Score (2-1): Always a bet with attractive odds, back a competitive match with the odd goal. 7/1 (8.0) with 1xBet and Pinnacle

  2. Kaoru Mitoma (Anytime Goalscorer): He continues to be in prolific goalscoring form, and we think he is a strong candidate to find the back of the net here. 27/10 (3.7) with 1xBet and Pinnacle

  3. Fulham to Score First: The Cottagers play with confidence even when away from home. Back them to open the scoring here.  5/4 (2.25) with 1xBet and Pinnacle

Prediction: Both Teams to Score

It is a bit of a sit on the fence sort of prediction, so maybe not one for the bonuses - but given the attacking accuracy of both of these two teams, coupled with their inconsistency, finding a winner might be close to impossible.

Back Both Teams to Score at decent odds and enjoy a brilliant end-to-end game of football.
