For Ipswich, they keep coming so close to giving themselves a reason to hope, but in truth, they seem to be dead and buried at the moment. They are in 18th place with just 20 points, and given that just seven games remain, it isn’t looking great for Kieran McKenna’s side.

The stakes are rising on both ends of the table, making this a compelling stretch for Premier League betting.

Chelsea Current Form – WWLWD

Chelsea’s biggest issue has been their consistency. They have registered some stellar performances at times this season and then also just flattered to deceive. It all comes down to which Chelsea side pitch up for this one but given the fact that Champions League qualification is still firmly within grasp, Enzo Maresca will be demanding the maximum from his chargers.
The narrative around the average age at Chelsea isn’t one which should hold much water. It is true that they have improved, but in order to realize serious success, they simply have to pitch up week in and week out.

Key Players to Watch

Cole Palmer
He remains a shining light for Chelsea and his return from injury will no doubt be a massive boost for the Blues. He is a creative talent who inevitably improves the standard of this team be it by his movement, dynamic play or his goal scoring ability.

Marc Cucurella
The defender has been in and out of the Chelsea starting XI – however, he is a constant presence in the squad who offers incredible versatility down their one flank. A defender who can contribute to a team’s endeavor in the final third will always be of value and the Spainard doesn’t disappoint.

Noni Madueke
Another player who is beginning to find his fitness again, Madueke brings a pace and direct intent to the Chelsea wing and is always a player to keep an eye on. His is an incredible talent and his Premier League experience will only make him more difficult to handle in the future.

Chelsea Team News

Marc Guiu, Omari Kellyman and Wesley Fofana are all still contending with hamstring injuries while Romeo Lavia is slowly making his way back from a slight knock. The Mykhailo Mudryk saga continues and outside of that, Chelsea have a fully fit squad.

Ipswich Town Current Form – LLLWL

Is it all over for Ipswich? We have lamented over their performances and results in recent weeks, but their chances of survival look to be all over now. That loss to Wolves seemingly sealed their fate – and how agonizing it must have been considering the position they found themselves in early on.
Yes, mathematically they have a chance of survival (and stranger things have happened) but it might just be done and dusted for them this season.

Key Players to Watch

Sam Morsy
A player who doesn’t always dominate the spotlight, he has been key for Ipswich in recent weeks and they will be hopeful of another big performance from the midfielder here.

Dara O’Shea
Dara O’Shea has been another standout performer in the Ipswich defensive system. He has at times been touted as the club’s player of the season – and possibly in the absence of a Liam Delap, he might just have won it. He is a leader and a strong no-nonsense Irish defender – keep an eye on him here.

Axel Tuanzebe
A wide defender who has operated as both a defensive and attacking threat for Ipswich this season. His contributions have been somewhat significant and seen the Ipswich faithful embrace the young defender.

Ipswich Town Team News

Wes Burns is still negotiating a cruciate ligament injury and Chiedozie Ogbene is struggling with his Achilles tendon. Omari Hutchinson is sidelined due to his hamstring injury and Arijanet Muric is recovering from a shoulder knock.

Prediction: Chelsea to Win

It isn’t the prediction which will surprise the masses, but it certainly is a banker for every sports betting multiple you play this weekend. Chelsea will know there is a lot to still play for, but with that aside, they have a team who should win here.
