Crystal Palace welcome Aston Villa to the raucous Selhurst Park in another Premier League game that is expected to be a thrilling encounter. Oliver Glasner’s side have managed to turn the screw and reignite the form they showed when he took over a year ago. The visitors have been solid this season, competing in the Champions League while navigating the Premier League which is no easy feat, yet Unai Emery’s team has risen to the challenge.

The Eagles are coming into the encounter fresh from a 2-1 loss to Everton at home. On the flip side, Villa surprisingly fought back valiantly to hold Liverpool to a draw at Villa Park.

Crystal Palace Current Form – WWLWL

Palace have been enjoying a good run of form over their previous five fixtures. Just the two losses and three victories have seen the mood at Selhurst Park change dramatically. To add further joy to the Palace faithful, a brilliant performance away at Old Trafford saw them claim victory over Manchester United recently.

Prediction: Draw and Both Teams to Score

Both teams are coming into the clash in good form. Selhurst Park is a difficult place to go to and Villa will have a difficult task on their hands. Expect goals because both teams have attacking players in form. It is difficult to call a winner here and a draw with both teams finding the net looks most likely here.
