Crystal Palace Current Form – WWWDW

Crystal Palace has been in incredible form of late. Granted, that draw with Southampton stands out a little bit, but Oliver Glasner’s side have achieved some really good results in the run-in to the end of the season.

From back to front Palace play with intensity. It is a trait that has earned them positive results and set them up nicely for next season. For the many fans associated with Selhurst Park, the talk around Glasner extending his contract would no doubt be greeted with much enthusiasm.

Key Players to Watch

Eberechi Eze
He is a player who continues to be spoken about at Palace, but his performances on the wing for the Eagles has been immense this season. Amongst the leading men for assists and chances created at Palace, his playmaking ability has seen him earn a constant spot in Glasner’s side.

Marc Guehi
He will likely return from his suspension and slot straight back into the team. A team captain and defensive option, his numbers speak for themselves this year. He has won 76% of his defensive duels for his side and will be looking to make a statement on his return here.

Jean-Philippe Mateta
Mateta currently leads the team’s scoring charts. Finding the back of the net on 13 occasions for Palace, his ability and prowess in the final third has seen him receive a lot of attention throughout this campaign. It would not come as a surprise then to see him involved in the goalscoring here.

Crystal Palace Team News

At the time of writing, Palace are only without Cheick Doucoure and Chris Richards, who are struggling with a knee and calf  injury respectively.

Bournemouth Current Form – LDLLD

Bournemouth have suffered a sort of fall from grace this season. After getting knocked out of the FA Cup and then only picking up two points from their last six Premier League encounters, their season seems to be fizzling out quite badly.

In fairness to the Cherries, they were absolutely flying at one stage. Beating all of the top five teams apart from Liverpool, it is a shame that Andoni Iraola has failed to find a strong finish. Their form doesn’t suggest that they will find too many points – but this is still a talented outfit.

Key Players to Watch

Antoine Semenyo
Semenyo continues to be a standout performer for Bournemouth. Throughout the season he hasn’t been shy to take defenders on and find the back of the net for his side. Already bagging six goals for the Cherries, he will no doubt want to finish strong.

Milos Kerkez
He has quickly become one of the standout full backs in the league. Showing a defensive ability which is only complemented by his attacking threat, Kerkez has three assists this season, but that doesn’t really paint the whole picture of his overlapping runs.

Evanilson
For the most part, Evanilson has divided opinion in the Premier League. Coming in for a rather hefty sum, the attacking ace has shown his ability in the final third throughout this season. Returning from a foot injury earlier this year, he has seamlessly slotted right back into the starting XI and immediately improved the threat Bournemouth has up front.

Bournemouth Team News

The Cherries will have to negotiate a few concerning injuries in their squad for the last few matches this season. Enes Unal suffered a cruciate ligament injury; Ryan Christies is still sidelined with a groin injury; Marcus Tavernier is a doubt with an ankle concern and Justin Kluivert is still unavailable due to his muscle strain.

Predicted Line-Up

  1. Crystal Palace: 3-4-2-1
Henderson, Lerma, Lacroix, Guehi, Munoz, Wharton, Kamada, Mitchell, Sarr, Eze, Mateta.

  2. Bournemouth: 4-2-3-1
Arrizabalaga, Kerkez, Huijsen, Zabarnyi, Smith, Cook, Adams, Semenyo, Scott, Ouattara, Evanilson.

Suggested Bets

New users aiming to maximise early returns on their bets can benefit from offers available through the latest welcome bonuses provided by trusted sportsbooks.

  1. Bournemouth Win/Draw: The Cherries have struggled in recent weeks, but they are once again showing glimpses of their former performances. Back them on the Win/Draw Double Chance. 5/10 (1.5) with Sportsbet.io.

  2. Over 2.5 Goals: There isn’t a tremendous amount of value about this betting suggestion, but given the attacking threat’s these two teams have – it must be included. 15/20 (1.75) with Pin Up.

  3. Bournemouth +1 Handicap: Bournemouth have shown positive signs coming into this encounter, but with good value still on offer after giving them a handicap, we suggest backing this at 5/10 (1.5) with Betway.

Value Bets

Maximising value on these selections starts with choosing the right platform. Check out the best betting sites offering standout welcome bonuses and competitive odds.

  1. Draw: Given the close and competitive nature of this game, as well as Bournemouth’s inconsistency – we wouldn’t dissuade you from backing a draw here. Get on at 43/20 (3.3) with Pinnacle.

  2. Both Teams to Score + Over 2.5 Goals: Combine all of the betting suggestions regarding goals scored and take advantage of the value. 22/10 (3.2) with Betway.

  3. Evanilson (Anytime Goalscorer): Back Evanilson to find the back of the net. He is certainly due a positive performance and if he begins to fire on all cylinders, Palace might have a tough time containing him. 22/10 (3.2) with Pin Up.

Prediction: Bournemouth Win/Draw

The Cherries haven’t played incredibly since their exit from the FA Cup, but the quality in this side is without question. They have posed an attacking threat and are not intimidated by their opposition, all of which suggests that they can come away from this encounter with something.
