The Cottagers host the Blues in Premier League action in a London derby that has all the makings of a classic encounter on Sunday. The home side has been excellent this season under Marco Silva and the visitors have been just as impressive under Enzo Maresca.

Silva’s side clinched all three points in the reverse fixture when goals from Harry Wilson and Rodrigo Muniz stole it late on at the Bridge after Cole Palmer had given Maresca’s side an early advantage.

Fulham Current Form – WLWLW

Silva’s side has been taking one step forward, and one step back over their previous five games. They do have three victories in that period, but the two losses have dampened their chase for a European spot.

Key Players to watch

  • Emile Smith Rowe: The former Arsenal number 10 has been excellent for Fulham in his debut season.  He has managed to shrug off his injury woes and has made 28 Premier League appearances this season. Smith Rowe has five goals and two assists for Silva’s side.
  • Raul Jiminez: The Mexican forward has been one of Fulham’s best performers this campaign. The 33-year-old has 10 goals and three assists to his name.
  • Antonee Robinson: The American fullback has been impressive down the left flank for the Cottagers. Robinson has 10 assists from left-back.

Fulham Team News

Fulham has just a couple of injuries to contend with. Reiss Nelson has a hamstring strain, while Harry Wilson has a foot issue. Silva’s side are one of the most entertaining in the division and average more than a goal a game this season.

Chelsea Current Form – WWLWD

The Blues are well within the race for Champions League football and need to clean up their form as we enter the business end of the season. They have lost just once over their previous five games, and Maresca’s side have grinded out some impressive results in that time.

Key Players to watch

  • Enzo Fernandez: The Argentine has become one of the main men in the Chelsea midfield. Fernandez has racked up 29 Premier League appearances and has 10 goal contributions from his deep midfield role this season.
  • Pedro Neto: Neto is a constant threat to defenders, effortlessly gliding past them with his pace and skill. The Portuguese winger can go on the inside or outside of his fullback, making him a nightmare to defend against.
  • Moises Caicedo: The Ecuadorian has become a key cog in the Blues' midfield. Caicedo is a steely defensive midfielder who has taken on more responsibility at Stamford Bridge this season.

Chelsea Team News

The Chelsea squad is dealing with a few hamstring strains as Omari Kellyman, Marc Guiu, and Wesley Fofana are all nursing hamstring issues. Romeo Lavia will also miss the trip to the Cottage.

Predicted Line-Ups

  1. Fulham: 4-2-3-1: Leno, Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson, Berge, Lukic, Adama, Iwobi, Smith-Rowe, Jimenez

  2. Chelsea (4-3-3): Sanchez, Gusto, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella, Caicedo, James, Enzo Fernandez, Neto, Sancho, Jackson

Suggested Bets

The Premier League betting insights above provide valuable information, helping you identify opportunities for well-informed wagers on football betting.

  1. Over 3.5 Goals: As mentioned earlier, there are goals in both these sides, and considering the importance of the tie, expect over 3.5 goals on the day. (43/20 with Betway)

  2. Both Teams to Score: Both these sides have attacking weapons in their ranks and know the way to the back of the net. (71/100 with Stake)

Value Bets

In our suggested and value bets, we included some of the best sports betting sites

  1. Chelsea to Score in Both Halves (Yes): The Blues have shown great form lately and have been scoring freely. Their main striker, Jackson, is also back fit so back them to score in both halves. (12/5 with Stake)

  2. Draw: The game has a lot riding on it, with both teams pushing for a European place. They could cancel each other out at the Cottage.(11/4 with 1Win)

Prediction: Chelsea to Win and Both Teams to Score

The Blues are coming good at the right time as they press towards a Champions League spot for next season. It will be a difficult game, especially after Fulham claimed victory over them in the reverse fixture and most recently beat the log leaders, Liverpool, but the visitors should edge it here in a close encounter. Back Maresca’s side to win and both teams to score at the Cottage. An outcome that could offer added value when paired with a welcome bonus from one of the top betting sites.
