The Reds look to be cruising to the Premier League title. They currently sit in first place on the table with 50 points from 21 matches played which includes 15 wins, five draws and one defeat. Meanwhile, Ipswich Town are fighting for survival. They occupy 18th position with 16 points from 22 games played which includes three wins, seven draws, and twelve losses.

Liverpool are unbeaten against Ipswich Town in their last four matches played against the visitors. The Reds will take confidence into this match after beating Ipswich Town 2-0 on the 17th of August 2024. Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah scored for Liverpool in this match. Before this game, the teams met way back in December 2002. The game ended in a 1-1 draw on this occasion.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side went on a 68-game unbeaten run at Anfield. They didn’t suffer a home defeat for almost four years – until Burnley stunned them with a 1-0 loss at Anfield in January 2021.

LIVERPOOL: CURRENT FORM - WWDWL

Arne Slot is keeping the Liverpool-winning machine going. The Reds are unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions. They beat Lille 2-1 on the 21st of January. Before this game, Liverpool defeated Brentford 2-0. Prior to this fixture, they played out to a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest and beat Accrington Stanley 4-0. The last time they tasted defeat was in a 1-0 loss against Tottenham Hotspur in an English Carabao Cup match on the 8th of January.

At this point, it seems that the only team that can beat Liverpool is the Reds themselves. This means that Liverpool is playing such good football at the moment that the only way for them to lose is if they unexpectedly start to take their foot off the pedal and start making uncharacteristic mistakes and sway from their game plan.
