At this point, it seems that the only team that can beat Liverpool is the Reds themselves. This means that Liverpool is playing such good football at the moment that the only way for them to lose is if they unexpectedly start to take their foot off the pedal and start making uncharacteristic mistakes and sway from their game plan.

  • Alexis Mac Allister: The Argentinian FIFA World Cup winner excels at all aspects of the game. He is a capable goalscorer and has a powerful and accurate shot. 
  • Virgil van Dijk: The Dutch defender is arguably the best player in the world in his position. He brings championship composure to Liverpool. The entire team lifts their game with Virgil van Dijk’s leadership. He can also beat opponents in the air with ease.

Diogo Jota is expected to be out of action until next month, while Joe Gomez is still recovering from a hamstring injury. 

IPSWICH TOWN: CURRENT FORM – LLWDW

They head into this match on the back of a two-match losing streak which includes a 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City and a 2-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion.
