It has been a season to forget for Manchester United, and much can be said for the visitors. Both these sides have plenty of talent in their squads and will want to improve their performances. Vitor Pereira’s outfit ran out two-nil winners in the reverse fixture and will want to record a historic double in the league at Old Trafford come Sunday.

Manchester United Current Form – DWLDL

The Red Devils have failed to put together a run of positive results all season and have been languishing in the bottom half of the table as a result. They have just one win over their previous five games, drawing twice and losing the other two in the Premier League.

Key Players to Watch

  • Bruno Fernandes: The Portuguese midfielder has been tasked with a deeper role this season under new coach Ruben Amorim, but that has not reduced his output. Fernandes has eight goals and nine assists in his 31 Premier League games this season.
  • Alejandro Garnacho: The Argentinian winger is an exciting player when he gets on his bike and is a major threat on the counter for Amorim’s team. Garnacho has six goal contributions this season.
  • Harry Maguire: Following his poor run of form from last season, Maguire has rediscovered the performances he showed before his move from Hull City. He is now a reliable option for Amorim to call upon at the back.

Manchester United Team News

Jonny Evans has a muscle issue. Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo are both dealing with knocks. In addition, Lisandro Martinez has a knee injury, and Amad is recovering from an ankle sprain. Matthijs De Ligt has a foot problem, and Toby Collyer has an issue with his leg. Meanwhile, Ayden Heaven has a leg injury, and Joshua Zirkzee has a knock.

Wolves Current Form – DWWWW

After being in a relegation battle for most of the season, Wolves have put together a run of form over their previous five games in the league that could be rivalled by log leaders Liverpool. They are unbeaten and have strung together a run of four consecutive wins in that time.

Key Players to Watch

  • Matheus Cunha: The Brazilian has been their best player this season. He has had some discipline issues, but even so, the 25-year-old has 18 goal contributions for his side.
  • Jorgen Strand Larsen: The Norwegian has hit the ground running in his first Premier League season. The tall, lanky striker has 14 goal contributions in his 30 league appearances for Wolves.
  • Rayan Ait-Nouri: Rayan Ait-Nouri is an exciting fullback and can play in a back five or a flat back four. The Algerian is an intelligent player and has 10 goal contributions for his Wolves side in the Premier League this season.

Wolves Team News

The Wolves’ side has been suffering from knee injuries. Enso Gonzalez, Sasa Kalajdzic, Yerson Mosquera, and Leon Chiwome are all out due to knee issues. Pedro Lima has an ankle issue, while Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and Matt Doherty have knocks.

Predicted Line-Ups

  1. Manchester United (3-4-3): Onana, Mazraoui, Dorgu, Maguire, Yoro, Dalot, Ugarte, Fernandes, Garnacho, Eriksen, Hojlund

  2. Wolverhampton Wanderers: 3-4-2-1: Sa, Agbadou, Dawson, Bueno, Semedo, Andre, Gomes, Ait-Nouri, Cunha, Guedes, Larsen

Suggested Bets

For those considering where to place their bets, we've highlighted some of the most reliable bookmakers and suggested bets below:

  1. Double Chance (Draw or Manchester United): The home side are desperate for a result after their recent struggles, back them to get something in front of their home crowd. (1/4 with Betway)

  2. Both Teams to Score (No): From the recent head-to-head records, United have dominated the ties and kept clean sheets at the same time.  (49/50 with Stake

Value Bets

Football betting enthusiasts can find strong potential in these value picks, each backed by form, context, and market insight.

  1. Over 3.5 Goals: United have dominated this fixture with high-scoring games of late, and with the talent on show at Old Trafford, there should be goals. (43/20 with Betway)

  2. Draw: The home side has struggled recently, while the visitors have shown some of the best form in the league. Back Wolves to get a point from the game. (11/4 with Stake)

Prediction: Draw and Both Teams to Score

As mentioned earlier, there have been lots of goals in these two sides' recent encounters, and United have dominated Wolves, but at this moment, the visitors look the better side. Back Pereira’s side to get something from the clash, and both teams to score at Old Trafford. If you're new to betting, many platforms offer a welcome bonus for first-time users, giving you an extra incentive to get started.
