Forest welcome the Bees to their home stadium for Premier League action that is certain to have fireworks. Both these sides are well-coached outfits and have entertaining players in their ranks.

Nuno Espirito Santo is doing an amazing job as his side is the surprise package of the season and is chasing an impressive Champions League place. Frank’s chargers, on the other hand, are within touching distance of the top half of the table and play some exciting football.

Nottingham Forest Current Form – WWLLW

Forest has been pretty consistent this season and over their previous five games boasts a record of three wins and two losses. The defeats have seen them lose the advantage they had over the chasing pack for the Champions League place, and Espirito Santo’s side are now looking over their shoulder as we head into the business end of the campaign.

Key Players to watch

  • Anthony Elanga: The Swede has been a consistent source of goals for Forest this season. The 22-year-old has 15 goal contributions and is one of the trickiest wingers in the Premier League.
  • Chris Wood: The New Zealand international has been sensational for Forest this campaign. The tall striker is one of the highest scorers in the league with 19 goals to his name in 31 games.
  • Morgan Gibbs-White: The England international is one of the most entertaining players to watch in the Premier League. Gibbs-White can attack and defend, and is a tireless runner for this Forest side.

Nottingham Forest Team News

Espirito Santo will only be without Ola Aina for the visit of the Bees and will look to using the advantage of an almost fully-fit squad as they head into the business end of the season so they can preserve their spot in the top five for a Champions League place for next season.

Brentford Current Form – WLDDW

The Bees have been inconsistent over their previous five games, and it has seen them drop into the bottom half of the table. Frank’s side has just two wins and they have drawn twice and lost the other game in that time.

  • Bryan Mbuemo: The Cameroon international is a gifted footballer. He can lead the line or play off either wing and he has 18 goals to his name in the league for Frank’s side.
  • Mikkel Damsgaard: The 24-year-old is having one of his best seasons in a Brentford shirt to date. The Danish international has registered 10 assists this campaign and is a serious creative force for the London-based club.

The Bees will be without Josh Dasilva and Igor Thiago, who are long-term absentees with knee injuries. Aaron Hickey faces a fitness test, while former Liverpool midfielder Fabio Carvalho has a shoulder problem. Additionally, Yunus Emre Konak has a head injury.

Value Bets

  1. Draw: Both these sides are difficult to defeat, and they could cancel each other out. (13/5 with Betway)

  2. Chris Wood Anytime Goal Scorer: The New Zealander has been in terrific form in front of goal this season. Back Wood to add to his tally of 19 Premier League goals against Brentford. (2/1 with Betway)

Prediction: Both Teams to Score and Draw

It is difficult to pick a winner here. Forest looks to have hit a blip in form, and the Bees are a well-rounded outfit. There are goals in the tie, though, and an entertaining game is on the cards at the Forest ground, but I don’t see any separating these two on the night. Placing a bet on the match? A welcome bonus is available with select betting sites and could add extra value before kickoff.
