Southampton Current Form – LLLLL
It has been a torrid time back in the Premier League for the Saints. Their previous five fixtures say it all as they have lost all five games in that time. They have also scored the least amount of goals while conceding the most in the division so far.

Key Players to Watch
Mateus Fernandes
The Portuguese youngster looks like he is getting better with each game. The 20-year-old has three goal contributions in 27 appearances in the league this season.
Kamaldeen Sulemana
The 23-year-old Ghanaian has become an important figure for the Saints. He has featured 17 times in the Premier League and can play on the wing and lead the line.
Kyle Walker-Peters
The former Tottenham Hotspur fullback has been a consistent performer for Southampton this campaign. He missed just two games all season and has two assists to his name.
Southampton Team News
Juan Larios and Jan Bednarek are both unavailable for the clash. Ross Stewart has a muscle injury and Ryan Fraser and James Bree are both dealing with knocks ahead of the Wolves visit. Adam Lallana is also out with a hamstring issue. Will Smallbone (groin) and Taylor Harwood-Bellis (thigh) will also miss the visit of Palace.
Crystal Palace Current Form – WLWWW
The visitors have been excellent over their past five games in the Premier League. Four wins and one loss is good form for a team that started the league in poor fashion and they are now looking like the Palace side that Oliver Glasner took over when he first joined the club.

Key Players to watch
Jean-Phillipe Mateta
The big French striker is a nightmare for Premier League defenders to deal with. He has 14 goal contributions to his name this season and has been one of Glasner’s best performers this season.
Ismaila Sarr
The winger’s up-turn in form has coincided with the Eagles’ rise in the table. The Senegalese has ten goal contributions and is a crucial part of the Palace attack.
Marc Guehi
The 24-year-old has been rock solid at the back at Selhurst Park over the past couple of seasons and has even been rewarded with the captain’s armband. The centre-back also has a goal in him, recording three this campaign.
Crystal Palace Team News
The home team will be without Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad as both have knee issues, and Joel Ward is still a long-term absentee. Jean-Philippe Mateta suffered a head injury, but the Frenchman should be back in time for the trip to face the Saints.

Suggested Bets
You’ll find a selection of reputable betting sites in our preview, offering reliable options for placing your wagers.
Both Teams to Score (Yes): The Saints might not be getting results, but they know the way to the goal, as do Palace, so expect both teams to score here. (41/50 with Stake)
Double Chance (Draw or Crystal Palace): It is difficult to see Palace losing here, especially considering the Saints only have two wins all season. (19/100 with Stake)
Value Bets
Over 3.5 Goals: The Palace team have formidable attackers and have been finding the net with regularity. Southampton also have a goal in them so over 3.5 goals is a good shout here. (39/20 with Betway)
First Half (Crystal Palace): The home team to win the first half is probable considering the goals in their attack. Mateta and co are clinical in front of goal. (6/5 with Betway)
Prediction: Crystal Palace to Win
Anything but a Palace win is hard to imagine here. With the firepower in Glasner’s attack and the Saints' poor form, back the visitors to win and compound the home team’s misery. New users can also take advantage of a sign up bonus to get started with their bets.
