Tottenham Current Form – LWWLL
The reality is that Ange Postecoglou’s side is on a horribly poor run at the moment. Now, you might suggest that we are being dramatic when we say this, but we say this not so much because of the results as is the case with their performances.
To add to the pressure of the situation for Spurs, they are (at the time of writing) in 15th position on the table! They are in desperate need of a win, and quickly. That loss to Everton would have certainly hurt the morale of the side – but you would hope they come out here with something to prove.
Key Players to Watch
- Son Heung-min: Son has been the source of goals for his entire tenure at the club. His talent is without doubt, his finishing is second to none and as a holistic player and captain for Spurs, he has simply been incredible. The only concern you could have is that when his goals begin to dry up, seemingly, so do Tottenham’s.
- James Maddison: Maddison once again faces his former side, and he will surely be looking to put in a positive performance come Saturday. His creativity is important for Spurs and the more the pressure begins to build against Ange’s side, the more he will become someone they look to.
- Antonin Kinsky: Given the goalkeeper injuries Spurs have faced, it is tough to judge Kinsky. Yes, he was really poor in the North London encounter, but he is seemingly settling in nicely and growing in confidence. He is obviously a talented player, and Spurs will be hopeful he keeps it together for them.
Tottenham Team News
Rodrigo Bentancur (head injury), Cristian Romero (muscle injury), Destiny Udogie (hamstring strain), Brennan Johnson (calf injury), Dominic Solanke (knee injury), Fraser Foster (unknown), Guglielmo Vicario (ankle injury), Timo Werner (hamstring strain) and Yves Bissouma (knock) are all out for Spurs here.
Leicester Current Form – LLWLL
We feel for Ruud van Nistelrooy, Leicester are struggling, and the pressure will only continue to build. Relegation is beginning to look more like a Leicester prediction which is guaranteed. Granted, this is our assertion, especially if their results don’t see a relatively drastic change.
It was always going to be a struggle for Leicester in the league this season, their recent history might have suggested otherwise and given their fans a false sense of hope, but the Premier League is as unforgiving as they come.
This is going to be another tough outing for the Foxes – against a side who themselves desperately need a result.
Key Players to Watch
- Wout Faes: He is a player whose name has often featured when we speak of Leicester City. Defensively they have struggled, but he has been a brilliant example of tenacity in their defensive ranks. A defensive prowess has never been needed more than it is right now.
- Harry Winks: In truth, his current performances probably don’t justify a mention here. However, he has always been a player who promises so much and seemingly offers so much going forward. A creative option for the Foxes will be hopeful to show his talent for the remainder of the season.
- Jordan Ayew: Again, a player who makes it onto this list thanks to his attacking ability up and down the pitch. A strong offensive player with an eye for goal, the Foxes will be hoping he manages to deliver a performance to be proud of.
Leicester Team News
Mads Hermansen (groin injury), Ricardo Pereira (hamstring strain), Abdul Fatawu (knee injury), Wilfred Ndidi (hamstring strain) and Woyo Coulibaly (sickness) are all doubts here.
Predicted Line-Up

Suggested Bets
These are our online sports betting suggestions and strategies for this encounter.
Tottenham Win: There is no doubt that the Spurs team can completely dispatch this Leicester outfit. Big Ange will be hoping his charger registers a performance worth all three points and we think they get the job done here. 12/25 (1.48) with Stake
Both Teams to Score: One of the biggest issues facing this Spurs side is the fact that they cannot keep a clean sheet for anything! Leicester might be struggling, but it isn’t their goal-scoring record costing them valuable points. 12/25 (1.48) with Pinnacle and Stake
Tottenham Win + BTTS: Combining these two betting approaches is the only way we see real value being achieved. Get on at 63/50 (2.26) with N1Bet and Pinnacle.
Value Bets
First Goal & Winner (Tottenham/Tottenham): Back the Foxes to get off to a flyer and grab the first goal before going on to win the whole thing. 17/25 (1.68) with 1xBet
First Goal (Tottenham): Not a big fan of the combination play? Back Spurs to simply get on the score sheet first at decent odds. 4/10 (1.4) with 1xBet
Tottenham (-1) Handicap: The attacking threat Spurs hold should be enough to overcome the -1 handicap in this encounter. Back the hosts at 11/10 (2.1) with 1Win and Sportsbet.io
Prediction: Tottenham Win
For us, it is a banker. We cannot see Leicester hurting this Tottenham side at home. Yes, they have been inconsistent and patchy on the road, but they should return to winning ways here in emphatic fashion.
