Tottenham Hotspur host Manchester United in a Premier League tie that could prove vital for both teams’ season. After a season to forget for both teams, both Spurs and United could end the campaign well, should they get a positive result on Sunday. The London outfit are coming into the clash off the back of a morale boosting win against Brentford. A Vitaly Janelt own goal and a late Pape Matar Sarr goal clinched victory for Ange Postecoglou’s men.

The visitors, on the other hand, have been just as poor. Manchester United have only regressed post Eric Ten Haag and have been way too easy to turn over in the Premier League. They have had recent big scalps of Liverpool and Manchester City in the league and even knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup but since then have been subpar in the league.

Tottenham Hotspur Current Form – LLLLW

Spurs claimed a massive win last time out against London rivals Brentford to stop the rot of four successive defeats. The home team are in a difficult position and Big Ange certainly is under pressure. While the win did lift spirits within the dressing room, 14th place and 27 points at this stage of the season is not where they would have envisaged themselves at the start of the campaign.
