Arsenal Current Form – DDWWD

Arsenal have struggled against teams that have set up well and are happy to gift them possession of the football. Nevertheless, Arteta has seemingly remained committed to their league performances – even amongst their intercontinental commitments.

The return of Bukayo Saka can never be underestimated, he boosts their attack and adds a completely different dimension to this Arsenal side. Unfortunately, though, the Gunners have now got defensive injuries to contend with. The biggest being Gabriel out for the remainder of the season.

Key Players to Watch

Bukayo Saka
His return from injury would have been a Godsend for Mikel Arteta. He is a dynamic player who has the ability to significantly contribute to this team’s attacking threat. His combination of pace, skill and vision make him a tough proposition to mark, and he could prove to be a handful for the Bees’ defence.

Martin Odegaard
Whether he starts for Arsenal or not, Martin Odegaard is the creative hub in this midfield. As we have said before, his ability to control the tempo of his team’s play, drive his side forward and unlock opposing defensive system’s with intricate passing and movement all make him a truly world-class footballer.

William Saliba
He has quickly become the cornerstone of this Arsenal defence. A defender with ultimate composure, strength and clever movement makes him a vital cog in this Arteta system. Keep an eye on him here once again.

Arsenal Team News

Arsenal might feel as though it is one step forward, ten steps back at the moment. Bukayo Saka has returned from injury, but Gabriel Jesus is still struggling with a cruciate ligament injury, Kai Havertz is a doubt due to a hamstring injury, Takehiro Tomiyasu is still sidelined with a knee injury and now Gabriel Magalhaes joins the injury list with a hamstring strain.

Brentford Current Form – DLWLD

Brentford have been difficult to follow this season, but only because of their inconsistent performances. They enjoy an open game and always play with an incredible openness, but whether or not they will register a complete performance remains to be seen.

With that being said though, the one aspect about their game you can be sure of is their propensity to score goals. They are a good side who have enjoyed a good season and are playing with confidence.

Key Players to Watch

Bryan Mbeumo
He is currently Brentford’s top goal scorer, absolutely dominating in the final third. His attacking prowess and finishing ability in the box have played a crucial role in his team’s attacking success this season already – and you can back him to finish strong in the next few weeks.

Yoane Wissa
Another major role player in Brentford’s attacking dynamic, he is a player who has often found himself in prolific goalscoring positions and given his confidence – converted well for his side. Keep an eye on him here.

Mikkel Damsgaard
A midfielder who we have spoken a lot about this season, he leads all of the creative metrics at Brentford and has seen his vision play a pivotal role in the team’s success throughout this campaign.

Brentford Team News

Aaron Hickey is sidelined with a hamstring injury, Gustavo Nunes remains a doubt with his back injury and Josh Da Silva is struggling with a knee injury at the moment. Igor Thiago is also a doubt but the club hasn’t been as forth coming with his details.

Predicted Line-Up

  1. Arsenal: 4-3-3
Raya, Lewis-Skelly, Kiwior, Saliba, White, Rice, Jorginho, Merino, Martinelli, Trossard, Saka.

  2. Brentford: 4-2-3-1
Flekken, Ajer, Collins, van den Berg, Lewis-Potter, Norgaard, Yarmoliuk, Mbeumo, Damsgaard, Schade, Wissa.

Suggested Bets

Here are suggested bets for this Premier League encounter

  1. Brentford Win/Draw: It won’t be the most popular prediction you see this weekend, but given Arsenal’s shift in focus, their injuries and Brentford’s fearlessness – we think the Bees come away with something. 27/20 (2.7) with BetWinner

  2. Over 2.5 Goals: Given the propensity of both teams to score goals at will – back them to playout to an entertaining affair. 7/10 (1.7) with Stake

  3. Both Teams to Score (Yes): Another goal scoring angle to consider - Back Both Teams to Score (Yes) at 8/10 (1.8) with Stake

Value Bets

If you are looking for even more vallue, consider our value bet suggestions. They are perfect options to use those new Welcome Bonuses.

  1. Brentford Win/Draw + Both Teams to Score: Combine these two betting angles to maximise the value available. 26/10 (3.6) with Betway

  2. Arsenal Over 6.5 Shots on Target: There is no denying the attacking threat the Gunners hold, back them to have over 6.5 shots at the Brentford goal. 1/1 (2.0) with 1xBet

  3. Kai Havertz to Score Anytime: Deployed as a forward, his form has been up and down – but there is no denying his ability in the final third . 28/10 (3.8) with Pinnacle

Prediction: Brentford Win/Draw Double Chance

As we said earlier, the possible distraction of Champions League football remains a consideration for Mikel Arteta’s side. Brentford, however, will be their usual positive and direct selves. We back Thomas Frank’s side to come away with something here.
