The trophy itself is crafted from silver, gilded silver, an American gemstone, and malachite. The trophy costs an estimated $10,000, making it one of the most expensive trophies in world football.

8. Bundesliga Meisterschale

The Bundesliga Meishterschale was created in 1964, by renowned art professor Elisabeth Treskow. The trophy is awarded to the top team in any particular German top-flight season. 

FC Koln were the first team to lift the Bundesliga Meisterschale, back in 1964. Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen are the current holders of the trophy, after going through the entire 2023-24 season undefeated in domestic competitions. Weighing 11 kg, the shield features a 71.98-carat tourmaline, silver, and gold and is valued at around $57,102.
