Manchester City youngster Callum Doyle is searching for his next step, according to SportsBoom sources.
The talented defender has made over 100 Championship appearances during loan spells at Coventry City, Leicester City and Norwich City in recent years.
But he is yet to force his way into Pep Guardiola’s thinking at the Etihad.
Aged 21, Doyle has time on his side to make his mark for the reigning Premier League champions.
His contract in Manchester expires in 2027 and Doyle is weighing up his options in terms of another loan move or a new home next season, SportsBoom understand.
TOP TALENT
A number of top end Championship clubs have been impressed by Doyle’s performances whilst on loan at Carrow Road this season and are closely monitoring his situation.
Norwich would welcome a loan return next season, but boss Johannes Hoff Thorup has ruled out a permanent move for the player due to City's asking price being “too difficult for us”.
City are believed to want a sum in the region of £25million for the promising prospect.
A couple of Premier League clubs have sent scouts to run the rule over him this term with a view to making a bid this summer.
Doyle has enjoyed success wherever he has gone on loan so far.
He played a big part in Sunderland's League One promotion back in 2021.
But instead of returning to the Black Cats in the Championship, he went to Coventry and was part of the Wembley heartache where the Sky Blues missed out on the Premier League on penalties to Luton Town.
Last season, he helped Leicester earn promotion back to the top flight.
