Agustin Ruberto is the latest Argentine youngster turning heads in the Premier League, according to SportsBoom sources.

The talented teenager won the Golden Boot at the U17 World Cup, where he bagged eight goals, in 2023, and he has been on the radar of top flight clubs ever since.

Having come through the famous River Plate academy, Ruberto is regarded as one of the most exciting strikers emanating from South America.

Brighton & Hove Albion, who are renowned for unearthing top young talent, were interested in signing the hot prospect two years ago.

Ruberto’s former team-mate Claudio Echeverri made a big-money move, £55million, to Manchester City last summer and was loaned back to the Argentinian club for the first half of the campaign.

Ruberto is a natural goal scorer and is on the radar of plenty of European clubs.

ARGENTINE HERITAGE

The 19-year-old has been tipped for a huge future with a number of potential suitors considering striking this summer.

The likes of Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez, Julian Alvarez and Hernan Crespo have been strikers from the country who have taken the Premier League by storm over the years.

It is understood he has a release clause in the region of £25million, making him a bargain buy with huge potential.

Like Echeverri, River Plate would be interested in having the player return on loan to help his development and transition after a mov to a big club.

His contract runs out in the summer of 2027 and the release clause is the highest in the current squad, highlighting how highly he is rated by the club.

Ruberto have been a prolific scorer at international age group level and knows a move to Europe will enhance his chances of achieving his international dreams and following the footsteps of the likes of Lionel Messi and Diego Maradona.
