Exclusive: Tottenham Outcast Sergio Reguilon Eyes Fresh Start with Sevilla and Turkish Giants Circling
Sergio Reguilon is set to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer after being outcast. The left-back is desperate for first-team football and could return to La Liga with Sevilla. Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Beşiktaş are also interested. Reguilon, once tipped for stardom at Real Madrid, has struggled in England and is eager for a fresh start. Despite his challenges, he still has potential and is willing to take a pay cut for a new opportunity.

Sergio Reguilon is desperate to reignite his career when he leaves Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
The left-back has been outcast at the club in recent seasons and SportsBoom sources understand he will not be offered a new contract at Spurs.
Reguilon is desperate for first team football after spending the majority of this season on the Spurs’ bench after three loan stints during his time in North London.
And sources close to SportsBoom understand the former Spanish international could be offered a career lifeline in his home country.
Former club Sevilla, where he played a part of their Europa League triumph whilst on loan in 2020, are interested in offering Reguilon a route back to La Liga.
Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Beşiktaş are both also keeping tabs on the defender.
A FRESH START
Reguilon epitomises a player in desperate need of a fresh start.
Tipped for stardom when he joined Real Madrid in 2018, he swapped the Spanish giants for London in five years ago.
First choice in his first two seasons, he made 68 appearances for the club before his career stalled in England.
Reguilon has not played for Spain since 2021 and endured a tough loan spell at Athletico Madrid, where he was sent off at Almeria as he made just 12 appearances in the 2022/23 campaign.
The following year he was shipped out on loan to Manchester United at the start of the season before moving to Brentford for the second half of the campaign.
He impressed at times during his time at the Bees and it is understood Thomas Frank was eager for bring the player back to the GTech in the summer with Rico Henry sidelined.
The 28-year-old still has plenty left to offer and has the desire to revive his career. But he will likely need to take a pay cut to find himself a new home.
