Shane Lowry
Despite a missed cut at the Farmers Insurance Open last month, Shane Lowry has got things back on track, finishing runner-up at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and he was T39 at the Genesis Invitational.
Although his most recent win came at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans last year where he joined forces with his good friend, Rory McIlroy, Lowry could go low this week, especially if his putter is in red-hot form.
Sungjae Im
A winner of this event in 2020, Sungjae Im will have fond memories. It was a landmark victory for the tireless South Korean who cinched a maiden PGA Tour title.
The way he tamed the Bear Trap that day was impressive. Im might not be the longest on the Tour, but the way he delays his swing before releasing through the ball is unique and worth paying attention to. He has also fared well across some key performance metrics this term, including SG: Putting (10th).
Im is usually a threat, and this was illustrated at the Sentry and Farmers Insurance Open where he clocked two top-five finishes. In terms of golf betting tips, he’s one player you shouldn’t ignore.
Daniel Berger

While the Cognizant Classic venue PGA National is not a links course per se in the traditional sense, it is a venue that can be exposed to high wins. It is also a track where former Open champions have done well.
Lowry, as a former Open winner himself, falls into that category. Although he hasn’t hit full gear this season, he’s slowly starting to piece things together.
