English Fighter Pursues Historic Victory

English MMA fighter Stuart Austin is set to compete for the World Heavyweight Title in a highly anticipated showdown against Hatef Moeil at OKTAGON MMA's upcoming event in Frankfurt. With Europe's premier MMA promotion confirming the title fight, Austin aims to etch his name in history by becoming OKTAGON MMA's first-ever English Champion.

Austin’s MMA Pedigree

Austin, a seasoned veteran in the MMA circuit, boasts an impressive career spanning 26 fights, having competed against top-tier opponents across renowned promotions like PFL and Bellator. Notably, he holds a victory over UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion, Tom Aspinall, showcasing his pedigree in the sport.

 

Having found his home with OKTAGON MMA, Austin has delivered stellar performances since joining the promotion, including a remarkable submission victory over Adam Palazs at OKTAGON 52 in Birmingham. Now, with two notable wins under his belt, Austin has earned a well-deserved title shot and is poised to challenge Hatef 'The Boss' Moeil for the coveted heavyweight strap.

Championship Showdown in Frankfurt

The championship bout is scheduled to headline OKTAGON 57, set to take place at Frankfurt's Festhalle Messe Arena on May 4th. Joining Austin on the card will be former footballer Christian Eckerlin, alongside OKTAGON MMA's renowned lightweight fighter, Losene Keita, who holds the position of P4P number 2.
