Wanderlei Silva, otherwise known as “The Axe Murderer”, was a fan favourite in Mixed Martial Arts due to his aggressive brawling style which manufactured several exciting fights throughout his career. 27 of his 35 career victories came by way of knockout.
His exciting style and knockout artistry at the pinnacle of the sport earned him his riches.
The Brazilian holds the record for the most knockouts in Zuffa history (UFC, Pride, WEC and Strikeforce) with 19. He also has the longest undefeated streak in Pride history with 20.

Randy Couture is one of the best to ever do it at the higher-weight divisions. He is a three-time UFC heavyweight champion and a two-time UFC light-heavyweight champion.
Not only did Couture make his money from fighting, he also earned his wealth by starring in movies such as The Expendables.
8. Anderson Silva – $18 million
Despite being regarded as one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, Anderson Silva's wealth is only enough to land him eighth on this list.
“The Spider” still holds the UFC middleweight record for the most successful title defences in history (10). He also has the most finishes in UFC title fights with 9.

7. Fedor Emelianenko – $18 million
Despite “The Last Emperor” never fighting in the UFC, he still managed to rake in the dough throughout his excellent career. He is widely regarded as the best heavyweight MMA fighter ever and he almost went a full decade without losing.
Even though Fedor Emelianenko has had a career spanning 23 years, astonishingly he has only lost 7 times in 48 fights.
6. Tito Ortiz – $20 million
A former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Tito Ortiz holds the record for the second most championship bouts in the UFC light-heavyweight division. His MMA career was known for his exciting feuds against Ken Shamrock and Chuck Liddell.

5. Brock Lesnar – $25 million
Despite only having single-digit fights in professional MMA, Brock Lesnar makes his way onto this list mainly because of his history with the WWE. Nevertheless, in his short MMA career, he did manage to make it to the UFC and even win the heavyweight title, defending it twice.

Losing just twice across a 15-year pro career, GSP reigned supreme in the UFC welterweight division for years, racking up seven successful UFC title defences - the most in history. The Canadian holds the record for the most takedowns in UFC history (90).
St-Pierre bowed out of the sport in 2017 when he defeated Michael Bisping to claim the UFC middleweight belt.

3. Khabib Nurmagomedov – $40 million
Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov made his fortunes through his excellent UFC career. With a professional MMA record of 29-0, the Russian retired at the pinnacle of the sport back in 2020.
Nurmagomedov is tied for the most title defences in UFC lightweight history (3). He also holds the record for the most submissions in UFC lightweight title bouts (3).
His biggest payday in MMA came after defeating Conor McGregor at UFC 229. Since retiring, Khabib has boosted his net worth through business deals.
