The much-awaited British GP will be held at Silverstone from 5 to 8 July 2024. Earlier this year, Silverstone and F1 extended their contract to host the British GP at the venue until 2034. Lewis Hamilton has the most success on this track, winning 8 times. Last year he finished 3rd with another British racer Lando Norris finishing at the 2nd spot. Max Verstappen won the race at Silverstone and also won the Italian GP, another fan favourite Grand Prix.
The first two races are scheduled in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in March. For these two races, the Grand Prix will take place on a Saturday because of Ramadan.
Among the 2024 F1 race calendar, the Monza Circuit in Italy has hosted the most grands prix with a total of 73 races being held on the track.

Sprint races in 2024 F1 schedule
Six sprint races will be held in the 2024 season, the same amount as 2023. The sprint races will be held at Shanghai, Miami, Spielberg, Austin, São Paulo and Losail. Four of these venues have hosted sprint races before. Shanghai and Miami are set to host sprint races for the first time.
The sprint shootout establishes the grid for the Sprint. It will now occur on a Friday following a free practice. The Sprint race will then kick off as the first event on a Saturday schedule, awarding points to the top eight drivers: the victor receives eight points, while the eighth-place driver earns one point - consistent with the 2023 rules.
