Snooker’s Judgement Day
Following Snooker's recent judgment days, the fate of the 16 world championship qualifiers has been determined, solidifying the line-up for the prestigious event at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. Among those securing their places are former World Champion Stuart Bingham and a former UK Championship winner, Stephen Maguire.
One of the most notable upsets of the qualifiers was orchestrated by the Welsh Warrior, Jamie Jones, who clinched victory in a last-frame shootout against none other than the 2010 World Champion, Neil Robertson. This marks the first time in two decades that Robertson will not be gracing the Crucible stage, adding a significant twist to this year's championship draw.

The Standout First Round Matches
The structure of the draw sees the 16 seeded players including Ronnie O’Sullivan and Luca Brecel go up against the 16 qualifiers in the competition’s first round. Standout first round ties include Cheltenham Jack-pot, Jack Lisowski take on 2024 UK Championship finalist Ding Junhui, and the in-form man to beat, Judd Trump takes on Iranian potter, Hossein Vafaei.
